DISTANCE SALE AGREEMENT

This Distance Selling Agreement applies to medical training services (cadaver courses, clinical internships, live surgical training, etc.) offered by MEDICOMM HEALTH TOURISM SERVICES LIMITED COMPANY (“Company”) and aims to provide participants with a transparent and fair process.

  1. SCOPE

This policy applies to training services organized by the Company on specific dates and locations.

The training services offered are subject to the right of withdrawal exception for services provided on a specific date, in accordance with the Distance Contracts Regulation of the Consumer Protection Law No. 6502.

  1. CANCELLATION AND REFUND CONDITIONS

2.1. Cancellation by the Participant

  • For prepaid registrations:

The prepayment is the payment that confirms the participant’s enrollment in the training program and is non-refundable for any reason.

  • For registrations with full payment:

Based on the participant’s written cancellation request, the following refund rates apply depending on the time remaining until the training start date:

  • For cancellations made 30 days or more before the training start date:

80% of the total amount paid, excluding the advance payment, will be refunded.

  • For cancellations made 15 to 29 days before the training start date:

50% of the total amount paid, excluding the advance payment, will be refunded.

  • For cancellations made 14 days or less before the training start date:

No refund will be made.

Note: For year-round and individually planned clinical internship programs, the participant’s specified training start date is used to calculate the above periods.

2.2. Cancellation by the Company

  • In case of cancellations due to organizational or instructor reasons (instructor illness, university/hospital-related cancellations, etc.),

the entire amount paid will be refunded in full or transferred to the next training date at the participant’s request.

  1. FORCE MAJEURE

In the event that the training program cannot be held on the scheduled date due to force majeure such as a pandemic, natural disaster, war, or official government decisions:

  • The training will be postponed to a suitable date, or
  • The fee will be refunded at the participant’s request.

 

  1. TRANSFER OF RIGHTS

The participant may transfer their right to participate in the training to another person.

A written notification must be made for the transfer of rights and approved by the Company.

No transfer to another date will be made.

 

  1. REFUND PROCESS

Refund requests must be sent in writing to info@medicomm.com.tr.

Approved refunds:

  • For credit card payments, within 14 business days to the relevant card,
  • For wire transfer/EFT payments, within 10 business days to the IBAN provided by the participant.

  1. LEGAL FRAMEWORK

This policy has been prepared in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and related secondary legislation.

In case of any disputes between the parties, the Istanbul Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts shall have jurisdiction.
