In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Training Program
A structured clinical training covering the IVF patient pathway—from ovarian stimulation and monitoring to egg retrieval, laboratory fertilization, embryo culture, and embryo transfer. Participants observe clinical decision-making, timing, and coordination between clinic, operating room, and embryology laboratory processes.
- Protocol selection based on examination and test results.
- Hormonal stimulation to support follicle development.
- Ultrasound and blood tests to monitor ovarian response and adjust dosage when needed.
- Trigger injection timing after adequate follicle number and size is achieved.
- Preparation for anesthesia and planned egg collection (oocyte retrieval).
- Simultaneous sperm sample collection or surgical sperm retrieval when indicated.
- Fertilization via ICSI (microinjection) or conventional IVF methods.
- Embryo culture and monitoring over 2–5 days in the laboratory.
- Selection of 1–2 highest-quality embryos in line with current regulations (age/previous attempts).
- Final stage of IVF; typically performed without anesthesia.
- Ultrasound-guided transfer; patient prepares with a moderately filled bladder.
- Embryos are transferred into the uterus via a catheter through the cervix; post-transfer guidance is provided.
